EVO difference?
EVO difference?
ok so yes im a noob at the whole EVO thing, but im looking into getting one. i was wondering...y do some of the evos have the lancer evolution badge in the lower part of the trunk and others have Evolution V III on the center of the trunk and some evos have the black leather recaros and some have the blue recaros? sorry to probably be askin this stupid *** question...i was just wondering though thanks!
I'll take pity this time.
The Large "EVOLUTION VIII" is a UK badge that a lot of people install to replace the smaller ones that we get in the lower left of the trunk.
The stock seats on the VIII are black and blue, while the seats that come with the SSL (sun sound and leather package) are the black leather.

I think the leather comes with the SSL package. It's pretty much the fully loaded evo. As far as the badge is concerned, I dunno if it's the "non US" version that has the badges across the back, or if it's the different years. My evo has it on the bottom left corner. But I've seen it stretched across the middle too. I think that's only on the 03's

Ok the only thing I stated incorrectly was the part about the badge. WHICH I actually stated correctly early in my post. BTW me and the mod were typing at the same time.

not ure yet man...if i can help it, i wanna keep the camaro...but if all else fails then ill end up tradin it..and as for maintenance....wut can i expect to happen when you say it demands alot of it?
1. Strict adherence to LOF schedule
2. Need to purchase replacement ADVAN OE tires ~every 10k miles (~$1000)
3. Replace brake pads every year
4. Replace rotors every two years
These are the bare minimum maintenance requirements.
