new to the dark side.

Hey guys, Im a new to the evo forums. right now i own a 2002 Subaru WRX. and i love it. but due to a death in the family i have come into a little money, so im looking at selling the WRX and up grading to the Evo (the dark side). to be honest in up in the air btw 3 cars; Ford Lightning 01-03, STi, or an 03 Evo. right now i leaning toward the evo. So after doing some un-eventfull searching on this site, i have some qustions.

-whats a good EM?, exhaus?, ect...or are there any standard modifications you guys would recomend.
-also, what do you guys think of the three cars im looking, what are your opnions

Sorry if i sound like a newb.
thanks
-mike

WELCOME TO THE DARK SIDE MY FRIEND!!!! You will find a wealth of information on this site! Ford lightning ? I dont like pick ups. STI, well I dont have to tell you. Do the basic upgrades, enjoy the car then go big turbo and stand alone.

In the search space, put in "first mods" or "what should I do" and stuff like that. You'll find tons of good answers.

Another thing is to look at the sites of our sponsors, they usually have staged buildups. Some of the most common/popular who sell upgrades in stages are:

http://www.vishnutuning.com/evo.htm
