Got a call from my salesman today about me needing to come over there to put some gas in the car becouse he is worried about it running out of gas, since the car is being moved in and out of the garage everyday since March 1st. Some of you may be asking why 'I' have to do it. I asked if I could be the only one to drive it since it was going to me my car, so he said no problem. I would have drove it to the station this past Thurs (I put a deposit on the car) but it was snowing like hell and everyone here says the Advans are not good in the snow, so.. The car has 3.2 miles on it and .2 miles are from it being moved back and forth each day. I pick the car up Fri, just waiting for my cash.

So, how much gas do they put in the Evos from the factory? Do I actually run the risc of running out of gas with less than 4 miles on it?

 

I don't see how it could possibly be out of gas with 3.2 miles on it.

 

There isn't much gas from the factory (maybe a gallon or two), but I've seen up to 15 miles on new Evos that haven't been sold yet or filled up. Unless the gas light comes on and the needle doesn't move when you start it up, I'm sure it will be fine for another 10 miles at least.

ehh i hope they fill it up before you take it off the lot... i made sure they did for me. cause iw ould have been P.O'ed

 

FYI, it had .4 of a gallon left with 3.2 miles on it
