Sun, Sound and Leather (SSL). Worth it?
Another SSL note. As I just mentioned elsewhere, I just realized that (1) Because of the sunroof, I lost the sunglass holder up top; and (2) because of the fog light switch, I lost the coin holder down below. Oh well. It's totally worth it.
Nope; not as far as I can tell.
(FWIW, the upgraded sound package seems to consist of a 315-watt amp under the driver's seat and a sub in the trunk. The other speakers are reputedly a little beefier, too.)
I was rocking some Tosca (J.A.C.) today, and it actually sounded quite good for a factory stereo.

I have an 05 evo with ssl package.
sunroof - nice feature for the summer but always pretty useless. no problems with mine.
hid- are a must. once you have them you can never go back to regular halogen lights. no probelms
stereo upgrade- sounds clearier and bassier than regular system. no problems
leather- love it and well worth the option.
