Need some advice
The TXS does not perform well on the Evo. The Hallman in-cabin works well, but yeah, you test it by turning knob then boosting. Same as you would with any MBC. I can tell you now that there's no reason to want to switch between "stock" boost and 20-21psi on the fly, because...well...stock boost is already 20psi, and there's no reason to run less than optimum boost on a daily basis. You won't end up using the feature at all, because you would only want to run higher-than-normal boost on race gas, and you won't be doing that except at the track (if ever), in which case you could easily turn up your boost on a normal MBC without messing with the TXS dual stage.
Btw, you will find that you have no need for an in-cabin controller either, because once your boost is set, that's it...you don't have to mess with it again except occasionally for minor adjustments as the weather changes. It only takes a few seconds to do it in the engine bay, and it's better to keep the vaccuum hoses as short as possible.
