I have never heard that the MAF is REQUIRED from 400whp up!?! Can you prove this?
Doing staged 2 upgrade by buschur.. love these guys..
Which includes upper pipe ,battery kit which you cant use the stock box from what i have read..
Thats the only reason I got the maf pipe and filter since its in buschurs upgrade sequence.

I wasn't saying I agreed with what he said, I was just clarifying since you seemed to be confused. Although it probably isn't necessary, I would rather go MAP myself once above that power level. Still it is said that you should move away from stock once above 400hp, but since I am not there yet I will have to take everyone's word for it.
Tpaynes, the MAF is good up to 500-550whp or so. It's not so much power level as it is HZ. At a certain point, it loses resolution, and the ECU can't adjust properly. 400whp is not the cutoff by any means, though. HouseDJ just loves to suggest crazy, off-the-wall mods that are not useful to 95% of us...
