Yea its 15whp with a tune, almost every power mod needs a tune to get the power out of them, I guess I should have added that to my comment but I thought it was more of common knowledge that intakes require a tune, and also there is no power difference from HKS RS to Injen to Buschur (hardpipe), its more of a personal preference, I got my HKS RS for free so I am not complaining. As for the filter being ugly thats just personal preference, as I personally think the bushur pipe looks a little funny but it works so no big deal...

Does anyone see any benefit from removing the factory corrugated black rubber hose which connects the filter box to the MAF and replacing it with either the purpose-built HKS hardpipe or the SAMCO molded silicone pipe/hose?

Power Enterprises here. I like it enough, and seems to be running well. Basically a nice open filter with an aluminum adapter.

I installed a SAMCO molded silicone pipe/hose. Can't say I actually
feel a difference in performance. It made my JDM BOV much more audible.

Sounds sort of like an HKS Sequential BOV.

That is just one case of this problem and who knows that actual circumstances of it, Al likes to knock parts especially if it helps out buschur, who can blame him, buschur makes great stuff but parts like HKS RS really work, there is also an optional filter that goes over it thats called "outerwears" and I have been running that since day one on my intake and there is absolutely no dirt inside mine even after running through some cornfields...

the buschur racing kit if your thinking of the cone filter for 80.00, then it comes with the cone filter(naturally) and the adapter to put it on the MAF,and the hose clamps needed for everything.very easy upgrade, it took me less 45 minutes to do on my 03,thats with removing the stock box.

HKS RS gets my vote. It worked for me. I made good power and backed it with a good mph.

Cant get anymore proof than that!!!!

The only thing about the AEM intake i liked, is the heat shield for the intake itself.
