You can't tell anything from a vid - no reason to keep mentioning it.

yes, being in the powerband makes better use of the power. WE know that, which is why we optimize our shift points to stay in that power band. Even so, staying in the best part of the powerband, we can't trap 112 with only 310whp even with less weight.

An auto LS1 Z28 weighing 3505 with driver? What weight reduction are you not mentioning?

No you are not. If you said it shifts at 6600 then goes down to 5000 and your powerband stops at 6000 then thats only 1000 rpms in the powerband even 1600 is little too.

Here you can see that the muffler is not where it's supposed to be even though this was before I swapped the loudmouth resonator for the borla one.

I believe race #4 or #5 is a Camaro with a stall with only 400+ whp.

No, my powerband has been raised because of the cam which is why it shifts at 6600 now.

Skillmatic is an idiot.

/thread

His times sound about right for a camaro with the mods he has. Maybe you should do some research, or find some friends with modded ls1's. Would you believe that a 427" ls1 in a 6 speed vette would go 10.91 @130.56 on motor on 3 year old et streets? I have vid if you are in disbelief How about 11.6 @ 81 mph in the same car? That pass would blow your mind for weeks...

Some people who consider themselves car enthusiasts have no knowledge about other vehicles then their own. Skillmatic fallls into this group of people.

That camaro trapped pretty low for 400rwhp. 12.9 @ 107 with a 1.9 60' from what I could tell.

I believe u dude. Skilz has not come across any properly setup fast Camaros or Cobras. He also lives his life an 1/8 of a mile at a time. And for that 7.7 secs or less he rules all V-8s. Warrtalon brings up some good points but the Tq converter equation makes sense. I have seen this stall and tq converter in action and it is no joke.

Also your car weighs 3548 that is factory weight from chevy itself. I ma assuming you are at least 150#'s so I would say you are at least around 3700. Which is like 400more#'s than me and I ma running more hp than you are with awd.
