has anybody tried wiring the foglights from a non ssl evo? i might just be purchasing a set of the jdm mr 8 headlamps and was thinking of trying to hook up the fogs, only thing i have a non ssl

 

bump, you mean to tell me no one has tried wiring fogs up to their non equipped evo?

 

No. It means there are dozens of threads about this and that you should try the search before posting.

 

ahhh obvisously your mistaken me for a noob, i DID search, only thing i found was someone had the same question but no one gave him a correct answer.

 

so there are fogs on the non-ssl? They just arent hooked up? They look like plastic false projectors to me

 

it appears to have a opening for a bulb but its covered, but that plastic. my question is, how would you go about wireing some up to a pair of jdm mr 8 headlights.

 

well, I imagine all the harnesses/relays are there, you simply need to wire up a swtich (but I could be wrong)

 

suposedly i recall hearing, something about there is no fuse for fogs in the non ssl version and this might present a problem. so thats why im coming to my great peers here at evom for some knowledge.

 

noob or not ... if you found threads with identical question to yours that did not have an answer, why didn't you just bump the thread to the top again or provide links to them in your post? That would prevent the dreaded "use the search" replies...

Once you install the EVO 8 headlights with fogs, just get an aftermarket wiring kit and the H11 plugs for your harness. It is as simple as that. I actually made a harness for that purpose but my evo 8 headlights did not work out, so I can sell you the harness I made if you are interested (PM me).

instead of being a dick, you should have just pointed these out. i dont need some one telling me to search, because when i did so nothing beneficial came up. basically if you dont have anything worth my time of reading dont post.
