Ralliart Lancer for Australia is meant to have 180 - 190 KW, with normal AWD no ACD or AYC similar to the USDM EVO 9

this information came from senior Ralliart Management in Australia

Hey dude...do some research before posting...the JDM & Taiwan Ralliarts have a 4G93 1.8L DOCH GDI....and guest what: it is a TURBO Intercooler engine (165ps M_power /220nm M_torque)....

AWD and Turbocharged... doesn't = $30K. I don't see why Mitsubishi can't make a Turbocharged AWD Lancer to compete against the WRX in the ~$25K range. Sounds like a good business sense to me. I think it's a great idea.

25k for a down tuned evo..

I dont understand why mitsu. ever stopped making the GSR's, they quit after the evo 6.... but i remember them being a 3rd of the price of the evo(easily the quickest in its class/price range. ofcourse the wrx was never a match. $ 25 seems pretty steep unless im reading wrong. $18 - 20 sounds right.

Well... yeah... if they can put out a really nice AWD turbo Lancer for $18 - 20K...? Even better! I was just trying to be realisitic. Even the FWD MazdaSpeed3 is going to be $22+. A Mitsu AWD WRX-beater for $20K? If that is possible... then sign me up!

An AWD + turbo lancer is exactly what I'd buy so I could track my IX MR. Posted this in another thread.

Assuming off course, it doesn't handle anything like the current RA and a lot more like a base Evo IX.

It will definitely be cool to have a Lancer that isn't so ugly. I wont have to hide my face in shame when my car's 'younger brother' shows up to the party.

Yeah, the term (GSR) isn't used very often... but basically anybody that doesn't have an MR or RS... has a GSR. So basically a base model VIII or IX is esentially a GSR. At least that's how I always understood it. Am I wrong? (The actual letters "GSR" don't show up in the sticker or the VIN description or anything... but that's the equivalent in Japan... I remember eading this somewhere).
