Is Evo a good car for a college student?
Well i definitly dont know where the hell you go to have 911's and M5's owned by college students, or well i mean driving their parents cars, but id like to see a college like that lol, but if parents buy thier kids cars, thats cool by me, my parents bought me my first stealth tt, evo 8, and auti s4 when i was in high school. but now i am paying for the IX myself, all my modifications, and my 2006 R6, but im insured with my parents as long as im a full time stutent, like someone mentioned above, but i pay for half of my tuition, my parents pay the other half, its not the easiest thing but i think its worth it.

I truely dont think anyone under 21 or maybe even 25 lol should have an evo or anything that is comparable. They are really not safe, extremely fast (compared to the school bus you rode to highschool) and they catch the eye of every suspecting street racer and cop on the road. I know what i used to do when i was 16,17 and 18 and if i hadnt had my Probe GT and had my evo..

ucsd..... i mean its not common. but ive seen students getting out of m5s and 911s on campus parking structures. Maybe its their parents.. but i see this on a daily basis when i get on campus. Not to mention ucsd is located in La JOlla.. probably one of the wealthiest city in socal.
I'm in a similar jam, except I already have the car....I was in the military, had the money for it, but got out & now have my car/insurance payment while going to school...I only have a year left so I'm just swallowing the pill and keeping it since I'd rather own it when I get out vs leasing something for the next 2 years and having nothing when I graduate...I only have a year left of school, so that plays into it too- If I had 4 years to go, no way I'd keep it.
