New guy saying "hi"

Hi I'm new to the evo world, I have had a srt-4 but FWD sucks and it was time for a change. I was wondering if anybody could give me a cook book on modding a evo, I found alot of options but I dont know about the right combo of parts, on my SRT-4 it was (computer, injectors up the boost and watch A/F) so any advise on a path to performance would be great, BTW Mods would be for a 06 RS

Thanks

Best cook book is the search button.
Now thats out of the way IMO the best first few mods should be the The warrtalon package

I have heard of good results from the above package. Otherwise, search, there are a ton of threads about this exact question. Welcome aboard!!

I wouldnt jump into that just yet. There are many people hitting 11's and 10's on the stock turbo. If you're going to do a turbo upgrade, i'd wait and do all the supporting mods first, and then do the turbo upgrade. It also depends on what kind of turbo you want as to what kind of supporting mods you need.

I was coming from the same place I had a srt-4 and I bought my wife her evo IX well after a day of driving it I knew I wanted to get rid of the srt-4 so I did and I bought a 05 RS! You will love the evo!

i just bought my evo in june and tomorrow gonna bolt of the buscher racing 3" turbo back but that's besides the point i had an srt-4 too and wanted the awd ability and power but the altitude that i live at (6200) the horsepower isn't so dramatic of an improvement over the srt so hopefully the exhaust helps the ponies roll to the wheels better

Hey great way to start, i'm new in the forums as well. There's nothing more annoying, from experience, than a new individual shouting "Newbie in the house"; that's wonderful that you're new but get to the point.

Likewise, Hello to you and hope you find the forums helpful.
