I think viper and clifford offer alarm systyem with buil-in turbo timer. I went to a shop and the salesman told me yeah it's optional that I had to buy the alarm and a separate module (turbo timer).

I just wonder which way is better for your turbocharger lifespan? a separate turbo timer or an alarm with built-in tt?

 

u dont need one ..but if u must id say HKS mabe ..ma cuz had it on his subi pretty nice ...it all depends on your like and dislikes

 

on the HKS type1 TT is it easy to install? or soldering is needed? hope it's plug and play.ime terrible in soldering stuff.

 

i have the HKS type 1. It is a very good TT with extra features.

However it is not plug and play. Only the ignition harness is plug and play. There is three wires you have to tap. It is very easy to do however. If you get it and need help send me a pm.
