when i turn the key a list of things to do come to mind.

hit full boost 3 times in 2 of my fav gears
brake 120mph 1 time aday
go from light to light 0 to speed limit asap.
take turns at normal speeds and egnore the sugessted speed limit sign.
example rt 80. speed limit 65 off ramp 30. take off ramp at 65.

Is this what you consider beating it? I would consider that babying it. I boost as hard and often as possible. 1 bar? That's not full boost - how do you manage to only boost partially? Do you let off as soon as the boost starts to shoot up? 4k is right where the torque starts, but 6500 is where the HP peaks. I try to hit peak HP daily. It's been my daily driver for the past 2.5 years, and I race the dog mess out of it on the weekends.

my daily driving involves city streets, can't fully boost without taking a pedestrian or easily being noticed by the popo, I drive up to 4k, sometimes 5k as 1 bar helps me get there faster but I just wasn't sure if this was a common way people drive, so I see that beating it has a new meaning from what I'm used to around here, also I'll lay out that I'm 18, whole new experience for me

i barely beat on my car. i usually shift at 3k-3.5k lol. yea i baby it a lot. but every now and then i'll get on her. but i usually only drive to and from work. and that road is only a 45mph speed limit. so i don't really get a chance either. i admit i def need to learn to drive her the way she's meant to be driven...to thrill...lol

Yes, that's babying it, no beating it. Beating it would be going to 7600rpm in every gear all the time. 1 bar = 14.7psi = not close to full boost.

18 having an Evo is ridiculous.
