the Zaklee ones are great...at least for me. i bought the Speed-source ones and they didn't fit right at all. i send mine back to get a new one and i never recieved one back and this was about a year ago. i've been happy with mine. made shifting a bit better.

i'd be careful w/ the brass ones... i've read reports of them seizing ... lack of lubrication because not enough applied or maybe even evaporation/engine bay heat.... i would stick w/ poly only. also brass ones may add notchyness to the shift feel.

I have the brass ones (Speed Source)...so far so good. I've had them on for over a month now.

Also, if you guys want even better feel from your shifts...try these two items. I installed them last weekend and love them.

They took out the slack from shifts...it feels a lot more solid and on point when u engage a higher or lower gear.

zwampy where did you get these bushings? have a link? as far as underhood bushings make sure they are for the 6speed and if they are brass or stainless make sure they are lubricated. the best mod i have done to improve shifting is the forge lower engine mount bushing

These are made for the 6 speed. Inexpensive too. I just ordered them myself!!

Just installed the Buschur 6 speed bushings on my car. They make a huge difference. Very smooth and clean shifts. It only takes about 20 minutes to put them in (very easy!!). That little E-clamp is a bugger though. I don't know how many times I dropped it and banged up my knuckle.LOL. If you have the stock battery, you will have to remove it to put it in. I managed to put mine in without taking out the mini battery kit though.

I did mine yesterday (Friday) too! For me It took a while to get that huge E-clip on the back bushing on but its done now. $35 shipped is not bad at all for what it does. I also have the Works poly shifter base bushings and I think they are better than the stock ones too. I am not sure how they compare to aluminum ones at the base but I have heard that aluminum ones may be too hard and since the base is plastic have the potential to crack it.

evo150,
you can get those bushings here:
