i regret the evo9...
I agree, I had a car repo when I first joined the Army in 2001, I was 21. Now my credit score is still F*CKed but I make enough money that they will still give me a car lone but at a high interest rate. My 03 EVO's interest rate is 9.25% and they told me that if I trade it in on a EVO 9 my new interest rate is going to jump to 13%, OMG. But, I can still afford it.
If you are complaining about $1000 a month you probably can't afford it and should consider something cheaper that will make less of a dent in your finances.
The IX is an awesome car to drive but if you are constantly thinking about how much its costing you, you will never really appreciate it.
My Evo is my weekend toy. Yeah it sets me back close to a grand every month but every time I climb into the drivers seat its $$$ well spent.

Wait on it for a couple weeks or a month, and if you still feel the same way about it at that point its obvious that you need to sell it and buy something cheaper- That way you can tell if its just how you feel at the moment or if its how you really feel and if that feeling wont go away... plus, like everyone else said, you can always buy another one down the road, and they will be a lot less money down the road as well.
Sell it asap, because the value will go down month by month. Sounds like your evo cost too much than your other expense ! If you still like evo, then get a used one for cheaper, or get somthing like MazdaSpeed 3 or Civic Si.
get a second job if you have to, you are taking a lot of damage by selling a 1 year old car. You will have to work hard for your mistake. (but u do have a IX to enjoy at the end of the day)
i don't know how many of you guys on here have kids, but my biggest reward is walking out to my car to go somewhere and my little girl (2 1/2 years old) say "are we going in daddy's car?" oh and getting to drive it everyday....
