I say go to the track then see what you think. I've had cars that i've had to do odd jobs just to keep it sucks but sometimes you have that one day where its perfect and it makes it all worth it

No, every other young kid on here that wants to buy one that wont listen to current owners advice that its an expensive toy comes to the conclusion you have reached. Its a shame really.

Edit:

Wow thats one lame run-on sentence, but Im too tired to fix it...

The car is worth it, unless you are paying like 20% for interest. If thats the case then even a Ferrari isnt worth it.

Sounds like it's too expensive for you. Sell it and get something cheaper like a mazdaspeed3 or something. Everytime I get off of work and walk to my car I smile even though the day was pretty crappy. It's my reward for a hard days work.

What are your monthly payments. To sum it up for you. Let me just tell you that you own a piece of history my friend. The car will go up in value if anything. I switched over to Japanesse cars from the over priced POS European cars. I was 20 when I bought my car. I paid over $1,000 a month and for what? The name only. People get so cought up into, ohhh how nice the Mercedes, Audi...etc look and ohhh man it gives you everything other then sex. Let me tell you something man. You have a jewel in your posesion don't sell it for nothing man. I have a 2004 EVO VIII and we use it as our family car. We also have a kid. EVO FOR LIFE.

If you have to ask, you can't afford it.

Thats my biggest reason I haven't gotten my IX yet. I can't justify swinging the car payment thats almost 75% of my house payment, not including insurance. I have a clean record, 26, married and they still want 150 a month for just the Evo for insurance.

I have a 93' Integra right now that paid for, runs great, and gets good gas mileage. That works for me and I'm happy with it. I think I'll wait 2 years b4 I get my IX.

total it, then insurance will give you a full refund =-) jp

sell it before you put urself into hardcore debt....

depending how much you put down... you may still owe on the car after you sell it.

Keep it. You won't regret it later on down the road when your finances are better.
