Yes but there's a differnce.. there is the rich spoiled kids who get there parents to buy them one but then theres people like me @ 18 having a Evo, but actually having to work and goto school to be able to own one.. not every kid that has an evo is a spoiled.... kinda a stereotype imho...

If you buy this car and don't drive like a D-bag then no issues should present themselves, but the stock clutch does die rather quickly due to the insane power the 4g can dish out with barely any money spent, something the EJ20/25 can't even dream of.

i never had any problems, but my car does this really weird thing....after i wash it and i press the brakes it revs to like 3000rpm, then it goes back to idle when i let off. it does this for a while, and over time the rpms will keep dropping everytime i hit the brakes and after about 2-3 hours its normal again....i dont understand it

'03 with 70k miles...had to replace clutch at 60k and brakes at 50k!! I keep all the drivetrain fluids changed regularly and so far no major mechanical failures!!

I'm really liking this thread. I was worrying about this same thing just yesterday. I'm still working up to a fat (15k) down payment on one of these suckers. Halfway there...
