I was wondering what all you guys thought.... as ive said im getting my evo soon and was going to order it sometime this week from Huntington Beach and have it deliverd here to Illinois door-to-door. Then a dealer freind I know said to go to a mitsu dealer near me and have them do a dealer locate. I told him the midwest i out of 9 and se and all they have are MRS which i dont want and cost too much. What should i do continue what i was doing and get the better price from Huntington or have my dealer freind try to have the guy at the local mitsu find one which may not exist and try to have to work him down on the price??????? thanks
dont even call huntington beach just call south coast mitsu in costa mesa this is where all of the cars are.... they had 40 +, long beach huntington and victorville just grab a car from them when someone orders... its all the same company.
^^^ SO Cal is where its at... God I miss it...
I agree -- it's unlikely you'll find what you want in IL, even with a dealer locate, so check out the CA dealers. Figure 1K for shipping (don't skimp on the shipping company, it's worth paying a bit more IMO) and don't forget IL taxes when you register it here (6-7%).

I didn't see any Evos at Max Masen in Downers Grove. I saw one Evo at Mitsu dealership in Bensenville. I searched for Evo inventory for local (sub urb) Chicago dealers and they are commanding high prices...
Your luck lies in West Coast.
I will likely to fly out to So Cal and drive the Evo back (AAdvantage miles
). I prefer to break in the motor by myself on the highway.

What he said. I finally picked up my GG SE at the shipping terminal on Tuesday (longest 11 days ever!) I just talked to Evan yesterday and he said they still have a few left.
Well, those SoCal dealerships still have plenty of inventory lefts... I am not sure when X will roll out, but I would assume they want to get rid of their 2006 (YES) IX.
Deals for me? I hope so, if not, I will be okay driving a Sti, or a SAAbaru (9-2X Aero).
