yea i only had that fluid in rear diff for about 20 miles, only heard the grinding as i was pulling to my house

you have to use 90w gear oil WITH THE LSD ADDITIVE or you will destroy the diff. I recommend not driving your car until tou change it. Buy the diaqueen from , yes it is expensive but you can do numerous changes with one can

diff is fine chill out ****ers.. and it turns out it WASNT EVEN MY DIFF that was making the sound.. my passenger side rear pad decided to shread itself into 92382832 pieces. but i changed my diff fluid out anyway

+1 on that....

Just an idea you might want to drive around for a awhile and then change the fluid again. Just incase you didn't get all the bad fluid out the first time.

Yes there are reasons not to. If your making 550whp or over use redline heavyweight shockproof in the Transfer Case. and the the rear diff use redline heavy also, but also add a LSD additive in the rear.

my car has like a similar problem.....i got a bit of wheel hop but since then whenever i drive if im going slow i hear a nasty grind sound from the right read could i have the same problem?

Its always safe to use OEM But if wanting to change its easy to search on this site. Better safe then spending $$$$$ cus that is what everything costs on the evo. lol
