Hello I just has to replace my cam angle sensor(70 bucks) in my 2003 evo 8.

Could anyone aid me in finding out why? Even John is stumped on why lol.....

 

Its a sensor and yours is broken...Not a good answer or reason but at this point who needs a reason.Parts break and in turn we replace them with new ones or better ones.I guess Id be stumped too.

 

How many miles are on your car?

 

I replaced my cam angle sensor on the intake side not too long ago...but that was because it physically broke when I was installing a water temp sensor into the thermostat housing that sits right below it.

Expensive aren't they?

 

i have 35k yeah it 70, now i need to replace my front o2 sensor. Yay!!

 

Have you always had electrical problems or are they just starting? What is your voltage coming out of your Alt.?

 

not sure since its not right in front of me, but i just got a tune from John and he said all systems good. Thats funny you should ask that...it does seem like I have an electrical problem.....I have seemed to have blown a fuse somewhere....my gas gauge corner of the cluster is out. hmmmmmmmm Let me go poke around
