has anyone had carbon fiber hood without puting on hood pins thank you

Iv'e seen guys do it, but I would take any chances. Thats alot of money to spend if you have to fix it cuz it opened up while your doing 55 down the highway.

+1 .. don't take ure chances on ure CF hood. and you don't want any hood popping off ure car while ure cruising on the freeway do you.

I have owen plenty of cf hoods on different cars and as long as the latch it properly placed u shouldnt have a prob.

BS. its dangerous remember its fiber it cannot be welded, or whatever they do to the stock one. so just use those 50 bucks and save your windshield and the scare of your life
