im 17 with a evo i make my payments and all that good ****. alongs if ur responsible and not do stupid **** all the time yeah who doesnt f around once in while. i bust my a$$ off for my car! but hey i enjoy driving it every moment!

Yes it's oh so cool that you're going to have an Evo at 17, Yes you will have chicks dropping panties everywhere you go because of your car. Yes all us old guys only wish we could have had our Evo's at 17. Yes I'm sure you are the most mature teenager ever to walk the face of the Earth and you're going to pay for your Evo and truly appreciate it. Got what you need there champ?

I swear the one thing that will get me out of this car is the pinheads that are in the community. Somehow I don't imagine Z06 owners or 911 or NSX owners having these conversations.

Come now guys lets be general. I agree that it does seem kinda crazy to own an evo when your 17. Generally saying, we all expect negatives attitudes when a 17 year old owns such car. But the thing is that it depends on each person and how that certain individual was educated. I was pretty mature when I was 17. I already had sense knew what was right and what was wrong; I made my decisions wisely: thanks to mom and dad. But then again, there are many 17 year olds who dont.

 

I agree. There's a bunch of kids in my school with high end bimmers and a few with E55's that just drive like madmen. A kid in my school had a 350z for 2 days before he totaled it when he ran into a truck. But remember that not every 17 year old acts like an immature 5 year old

 

 

ey i was 16 when i got mine...but honestly so bullsh!t i treated mine better than my girlfriend and ey trust me i really did....not just that i worked for mine dont believe then *** you, cause im still working....and yes without my father i wouldnt have been able to get it. But i was born with a passion with evos especially the evo 6. Back to topic i dont see why any aged' kid or adult shouldnt be able to own one its their decision on to **** up or not.....i hear alot about older people such as middle to late 20's that screw up more than 17 year old kids.....but whatever i dont think anyone should bash on someone who has a evo at such a young age its just complete bullsh!t and jealousy...

I really dont see how a 17 year old would have the credit to buy an Evo anyway, his dad probably bought it for him

 

people under the age of 21 should not be allowed to own an Evo period!.... you need to learn how to drive first!!!

 

In GA under 21 can't be on insurance for a ferrari, insurance bracket is too high

 

insurance is got to be high

 

I love how the way that a car is paid for factors into if somebody should be allowed to get said car.

that's about the last thing I'd worry about...

I'd rather see at 17 year old be given an evo by their parents over paying for it when they should be buying an education or something better.
