Its not about jeealousy or who pay for it , i dont care, it is how RESPONSIBLE you drive that Car since this car is fast right out of the box..but again kids can be kids, that is the problem.

What a waste of machinery. Unfortunate that a car with a heritage of the EVO's is tainted by spoiled kids getting mommy to buy them one. It really has become the poster vehicle for spoiled high school/college kids.

The reality is all teenagers THINK they are grown up. The TRUTH is the are NOT, but they aren't grown up enough to know it.

When I was 17 I thought that I was all grown up too. At 32, I just shake my head and wonder how I managed to survive long enough to get to 32.

I thought I was all grown up too when I was 17. I'm 27 now. Looking back 10 years ago, I can only smile to all the stupid decisions that I made.

I even bought my mom a new g35 with money from the crash and I turn 18 in 1 month lol.
Your a prefect example of why 17 year olds THINK they are mature but aren't. You think 2 months without an accident is proof of maturity

I dont know too many 17 yr olds that can afford an evo, much less make monthly payments and insurance. If they can do that, they've got my respect. I believe you respect your vehicle more if you're putting in your own money, blood, and wrench time.

ehhh...whatever it's a 30K car....I knew people with $60K m3's when I was in high school.....

Anyway...this does effect all of us because the rates for our car insurance go up. Insurance companies consider the vehicle high risk because of a lot of n00bs crashing them over curbs and into poles because they think they are all rally champions on freeway on ramps.

Fortunate 17 y/o…when I was 17 I was driving a 15 yr. old beater. But like everyone else, if he/she is responsible and pays for everything on their own then congrats!

I heard that. I used to think that reading the posts that started " I have been driving for 6 months now so I am an excellent driver....so then a deer/ woodchuck/ rabbit/ granny/ UFO came out of nowhere....I was only going 25 mph when the car slipped on black ice and rolled 15 times."

But since my insurance is going up thanks to all of the "excellent" lil marios, I am failing to find the humor in kids driving these cars.

I will be the first one to admit, if I would have had one when I was 16, I would have killed myself or other people. Some kids can drive safely....most can't. They don't have experience.

In short, please don't crash...enjoy!!!
