The AEM EMS basically deletes your CEL. This does not mean you dont have issues or that you will pass emissions.... it just means your CEL no longer functions.

I don’t believe that there is currently a standalone that will pass inspection. If you want to pass inspection you will need to stop your car from throwing the CEL. Do you need to pass inspection or do you just want to get rid of the annoying light?

Humm...spend $1000 to fix the CEL or spend $5...just do the mech fix. We dont have emissions here - so I cannot say about that. But AEM should still have warnings built in if a problem comes up...pretty sure on that one.

MY cobb accessport took off my check engine light due to no cat and only cost me $700 plus I can also switch maps on the fly and read live data! Its not an ems but a piggyback system.

Even Ecuflash can remove that CEL if you want.

Or you could get the 02 Simulator (basically a resistor I believe) that wires in the rear 02 sensor wiring and makes it send a happy reading to the ECU. This should be undetectable to any emissions checks. . .

Buschur used to include these with their exhausts, not sure if they still do. . .
