Another girl with an EVO
I have to agre with steve on GST ( www.gstmotorsports.com ) . I haven't had work done at Speed Element ( www.speedelement.com ) but they are held in high regards here in the Bay Area.
If you are interested NorCalEvo is having a Hypermeet at Thunderhill Raceway on Nov. 18 ( http://www.norcalevo.net/forum/index...c,18745.0.html ) you might consider that if you would like to meet some of the local enthusiasts.

Yup, both GST and SpeedElement are top notch
Can't go wrong with either one. I've gone to both, Bryan @GST for tuning and SpeedElement for parts installation.
You may want to check out the meets and events section of NorcalEvo.net and see which one is close to your area.

Just for the record, I was dumb enough to buy my M06 MR from Fairfield Mitsubishi, and I regret it. Had I known what all of you say, I would have gone to San Rafael... Service at Mitsubishi trashed my Evo, too. When I took it there, I thought my allignment may be off. 3 people drove my car, and after 20 miles, they told me nothing was wrong. Of course, this is after they checked the numbers, too. And after I got my car back, my brakes started to make weird sound, but I am not bringing my car back there. I hate Fairfield Mitsubishi, and I would never recommend them to anyone.
BTW, congratulation on yor Evo,and see you on NorCalEvo.net!

Welcome to the boards MZ EVO8. Stay far away from WORKS...they are a huge joke. You'll end up paying 600 dollars for a base tune that is really just knock city and it will leave you boosting like 24psi. They claim they can control boost effectively with the stock ecu but apparently not.
