Please Dont Hate. Need Advice.

I have a stock evo 9 and I'm thinking about getting me a WORKS Brain Flash P2.
My question is this. Will it work on a Evo 9 or just 8? Also, If any one is currently using this flash, would you recommend me getting it? What are the ups and downs on this flash? I have asked a few people in person and got completely the opposite replies. Please be honest and dont hate me if this has been asked millions of times before. I have a Helix DP v2, Helix Highflow cat, and a Greddy Evo2 Catback exhaust.

Thank You.

Sorry, I have too much hate to answer you when you didn't bother to search.

I can't imagine why you would consider buying that flash when it costs so much and when there are so many other options that make more power and cost so much less. However, seeing your exhaust choices, I'm noticing a theme of spending more for less.

They should have a works flash worked out for the evo 9, but its really expensive. To be totally honest research Jestr tuning. All you have to do is 1) buy a tactrix cable, 2) pull your rom from off your factory ECU 3) email it to Jestr tuning (jestrtuning.com) and paypal him money 4) he emails it back to you and you upload it to your ECU. Hes a great tuner and i made 272 (around 315 on a Dynojet) on a DynoDynamics with just a TBE, intake, and MBC and his flash. Make sure you get Mitsulogger (www.activematrix.com its free) to do some logs to make sure your not getting any knock. If you are just email him and he'll fix it for you.

This is alot cheaper route to go and will only cost you a MAX of 250 and there will be no down time on your car.

I appreciate you guys trying to save me money and all but that was not my question. All I wanted to know was whether or not it was worth purchasing? I knowing nothing about tunning and I sure dont want to send out ****. So for those who know anything about the flash please respond.

Thank you again!

IMO, not worth it, just basic tune should yield more power without mailing your ecu, which is annoying for me at least

I have the P2, great power, holds boost, tho the locals prefer custom tuning...

you should probably throw on a couple more things before you tune it tho ...
LICP, fuel pump ..
if you add works products they' can update your flash cheap... rather than retune later down the road... biggest advantage IMO
downs' you dont get a knock printout ...
