I'd say go with the mods just like everyone else. Mitsu will tell you that you moded it anyways if you break something... and as long as you play hard but splay smart, you shouldnt need to worry about breaking anything. I have an extended "service agreement" on my 03 VIII, im at 40k now and have til 83k to use it. Doubt i ever will, maybe the clutch soon. But ill just take the mods off like everyone else and hope i run into a nice dealer...

i also have a new 06 IX... w/ the 10yr 100k mi warranty. Just do all the basic boltons. They cant say anything about that... unless they can prove it was the bolt on that caused damage, which 99% of the time it wont be. (exhaust/intake) the tune/flash can always return to stock... and OBDII scanners can't notice it anyways. Just dont give away you are running more boost...

 

Who cares about warrentee there just gonna screw you anyway. Mine only has 10000 miles on it and it has all the boltons. Do it

 

lol you sound just like me... I have a IX and just broke 3k yesterday miles.... i went a whole 2k miles with out modding it... My wife and i made a deal saying i wont mod it till the car is paid off but yeah that didnt work.... Its addicting...

im going to be saving now for cams and a tune befor i up the boost... Im trying to make this car as safe for a daily as i can. When i went to the dealership and they told me because i put tints on my car it voided my window warranty.. I threw my hands up and said **** it... I dont make the big bucks but life is short and for once i got the car I really wanted .. at 20 years old to have a 30k car.. i think i have done well and im going to enjoy it as you should to... You didnt get the car to keep it stock... You are on this site because you have the same problem as everyone eles... buying parts to go faster... SO DO IT!!!
