vibration in the steering wheel

hey everybody,

i am having an issue with my 05evo8. when i get up to highway speeds(55+ mph) i get alot of vibration in my steering wheel. the dealership told me that i needed new brakes so i put on a complete set of rotors, pads and stainless brake lines. i still have the problem. sometimes its bad and sometimes its not really noticable. it tracks fine down a straight road and the tires seem to be ok.

does anybody know of what it can be? any suggestions would be great,

thanks

It can be your tires.

Go and do some balancing.

Well back in Seattle here, there is 'Discount Tire'.

They do most of the tire things. I am sure they can help you out some how.

Cheers.

At highway speeds, vibrations in the steering wheel are indicators of the wheels. Balance those suckers and get an alignment if it's been a while. Also check for tire wear. Stocker wear fast.

Balancing all the way, if it seemed to happen suddenly you probably lost a wheel weight.
