Repost much?

why do you have to change the filter? Isnt RMR's a re-usable? I know RRM's is a K&N that all you have to do is use a recharge kit but you dont need to buy a new filter.

If it's a cotton element filter like a K&N then you can clean it just live Vince said. I'm 99.9999999% sure the RMR intake is cleanable. The kit costs around 12-15 bucks I think. I have one and don't even remember what I paid for it.

You won't have to buy any more filters.
I clean my filter about once every two months, or if it is visibly dirty. Go to any auto parts store and get yourself a K&N recharger kit.

yes, it's rechargeable, and I believe you should recharge it as often as you would replace a regular filter (about once every 15k miles)

If you want mine I'll sell it to your real cheap...like 5 bucks and shipping. I've got a foam filter element right now so I don't really need the cleaner.

If I wasn't afraid of shipping costing something like $7 from NJ to Ca, I'd take you up on that. I'll pick one up from Pep Boys (I think they're $12-15). Do you think my guess of once every 15k is too much??? I kinda have a unique situation, my intake ducting makes about a 2" square dirty spot, so I rotate the filter every 3k miles. Hey, at least the dirty spot proves that the ducting is providing more air than that tiny stock scoop.
