RRM Test Pipe?

Can anyone tell me a little sum sum about the RRM Test Pipe? Like how it will sound, whats the consequinces of putting it on, etc. I currently have Magnaflow muffler, which added a nice low HUM to the exhaust, so how will it sound with the addition of Test Pipe? And how hard is it to install? Thanks.

It will make the overall tone of your exhaust higher. Not necessarily louder, but a higher pitch.

Install is cake, just gotta get a breaker bar to bust those cat bolts loose.

It helps a good bit with exhaust flow, and I felt a HUGE difference when I was running intake/header/downpipe/testpipe/axleback.

Dont sweat the sound it is at least 2 octives lower than a standard fartcan, I was paranoid at first but like a day after I put it on a early crappy integra with a fartpipe went by and I realized Im not that loud. BTW Im header, DP, test pipe, catback so it s about as loud as it can possibly be.

the more exhuast gas freed up, the higher the pitch it's going to be, really no avoiding it

When I had Intake, TB, header, test pipe and catback it was F'n loud. It was sorta an embarrasing, annoying sound like a ricer or something but since it made me go a lil quicker i didnt mind.

i have the magnaflow exhaust too and was worried about how the test pipe would effect the sound. it changes the deep sound of the exhaust a little bit, but not dramatically. i'm happy with the sound, it makes the exhaust sound a little more high pitched but the deepness is still there. i'll be honest, at first it sounded a TAD BIT ricey, but it doesnt anymore or maybe i just got use to it? ;x but i am worried that with other mods, it will definately sound ricey, but the test pipe / exhaust combination is good.

It should sound badass. I had the RMR intake and exhaust plus the testpipe and I loved every second of it.

hey, question about the test pipe install. if you need to use a breaker bar, how much clearance under the car do you really need? the places around here won't install it for me and i don't think rolling the front up on ramps will give enough room to work.

any thoughts, suggestions?

the install is easy if you can get ur hands on some jack stands i found it easier to do if you lift from one side or the other but not hard at all from the front just more crawling under ur car

The install isn't hard, just crack all the bolts free before removing them, or your exhaust will twist all over trying to get the rest of them. soak them in WD or PB 10-15 minutes before because they get pretty rusty. for the 02 sensor unclip the wire( it's easiest to do from the passenger side, inside, under the rug ,close to the center console) and get a monkey wrench on it in a vise(don't get any WD or other spray on the sensor itself, it will screw up the readings). As for power gains I didn't really notice a thing. And for sound it gets a slight bit higher pitched, but it sounds louder inside the car.
