What is the all around best way to run an evo?

Some people seem to think that a green with meth is their thing. While others are stroking their motors with 35r's with meth and alky. Most people seem to take an in between route with either a 3076 or something of that nature with quite a few supporting mods and meth, etc. For all around best use, what is the turbo to go with. The 35r seems to take a lot of money to build up, while the green doesn't have much topend, while lacking anywhere to go after meth. The 3076 has made some good numbers, while at a decent price. So everyone just give me your suggestions on recommended set ups.

That really depends on your setup and what you will be using the car for.

I want something that will be at least semi drivable while being an absolute FREAK!! lol. I would like something with amazing acceleration, while still having a bit left up top. I know they say you can't have both, but what would be one of the better set ups to get about what im looking for??

You can get anything you want, just depends on what you want to spend to get there.

The Green is a popular turbo for many reasons:
  • It bolts to the stock manifold/o2/downpipe
  • It spools like stock, but can flow 10lb/min more
  • There are no surging or drivability issues
  • It's a 40-50whp gain on pump and even more on meth and/or race gas
  • The powerband is strong and very usable... great for road racing and street driving
  • You don't have to rev high to make power... save your engine, keep the stock rev limiter

The next size up from the green is the 50trim, correct? Would it be worth the money to make the extra bit of power and to have a higher powerband?

*HTA Green ULTIMATE "street" turbo. Looks like a stock IX turbo too!

*Not yet released, but presumably going to be GREAT.
