Hi, does anyone have and suggestions on which year and model(mr or se) evo i should get? I was thinking of getting an 06 white evo MR but some people are telling me i shouldn't go with the MR if i want to do a lot of mods to it. If anyone can give me pros and cons of modifying an se and mr that would be nice.

 

I guess the real question you should be asking yourself is:

What are your goals?

These also follow suit:

What do you plan on doing with the car?

What whp do you want to make?

All of these questions will help point you in the right direction.

 

thanks im looking to make 400whp-450whp and plan on taking it to the 1/4 mile. And maybe some autocross.

 

Some say the 6 spd on the MRs isnt as strong as the standard 5 spd ( i wouldnt know, but my 5spd is great). The Evo 9 SE seems to be THE evo to get.

the IX's make more power than VIII on similar mods.

 

Do you know of any high hp'd evo MR's with the 6-speed tranny still in?

 

Wat mods do you have in your evo?

 

Does any have an mr still with the 6-speed tranny with 400whp+?
