caliper pins and retainers?
caliper pins and retainers?
i searched with little results...
so i need to purchase the pins and retainer clips for all four calipers, and was wondering if anyone knows the part numbers or has some they could let go for a fair price?
i looked here
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=124376
and couldn't find anything unless i just missed it...
i also need the front caliper mounting bolts, if anyone has spares, or knows the part numbers...
and the banjo bolts (the actual bolts that attach the line to the calipers) part #'s or if you got them and wanna sell them. i need all 4
any info you guys got for me is GREATLY appreciated!

BUMP! i read a thread where several guys said they kept spares on hand because the pins fall out at the track... it was in the thread that discussed attempting to use the STI pins on the evo calipers... but no part numbers are listed...
I believe there were no pin clips made for the Evo calipers. But you can contact Russell at Mitsubishiparts.net for everything. Check them out in the vendor sector, they could get anything OEM. GL
no no, i mean i need the pins, i dont have the caliper pins, or the pad retaining clips for any caliper... i need the part numbers for them. i dont really know what they are called... i guess, the pins hold the pads in, i know that, and their is like this other thing that goes in their to... '
ok, if you where to remove your pads from the calipers, you take out the pins, then remove the retainer clip, then take out the pads... well, i need EVERYTHING accept for the pads and the caliper...
EDIT:
i need whats described in Step 2:

They come in a kit for front and rear includes pins and spring clips for both sides. You're supposed to change them anytime you do brakes. Any dealer can get them. We found out the pins falling out on the rears was caused when a part breaks off of the caliper.

ok, well i called mitsubishi, and the lady i talked to sounded confused at my question, but she told me that:
front pins and spring kit (Part # MR475935) and MSRP= $54.42 and that was for ONE front caliper, not both. i would need two kits.
rear pins and springs (Part # MR475937) and MSRP= $9.40 and thats both rear calipers!
why would they sell the fronts separate for $55 and the rears together for $10? i think she was confused by my question... can anyone verify this?

the parts are almost exactly the same thing, I can't see that big of a price difference. call back and ask to talk to somebody in parts with a *****.
looking around I found this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BREMB...QQcmdZViewItem

Rear Pins and anti squeal springs= MR475936 MSRP- $9.40
Front caliper mounting bolt= MR370729 MSRP- $7.42
just in case anyone else ends up needed the same parts!
FYI: the front caliper mounting bolts need washers...
