Hey guys I was wondering the same thing....what if you took the exhaust and swapped that with the HKS Hi Power Silent one for a daily driver? What do you guys think about the sound of that exhaust since the car's being used for daily driver purposes?

i hope that will do it because thats like 5000 worth the parts haha. dude you have a g35 and an evo....thats amazing. i wonder what ill have without the cams because im going to have to have someone put those in because im not that skilled so those will be the last to go in

 

HAha I wish....I still have a couple years left before she's paid off. I'm all late but had I would have known about Evos a few months ago, I would have got that instead of the G35 coupe I just got 3 months ago. Its a nice car and all but its slow in stock form (well alot faster than my Lexus ES300 I had before it but not fast enough!)

My goal is to grab an EVO IX as a second car after I pay off the G and mod that. I'll probably end up leaving the G stock and going ***** to the wall with the EVO though.

 

You should use the EPM open dump o2 housing instead of the megan.

do you mean i wont reach 400 without the camshafts? or i wont reach 400 with camshafts? thanks....ive never heard of the epm open dumb o2 housing? is that like having a vent to atmosphere wastegate?

That's cool! How is it for daily driving? Like, does it sound quiet but still have the sporty sound? Or is it completely muffled on the inside while you're driving so much that you can only hear the engine sound but no exhaust sound like Lexus?

Sorry for all the questions but Evokel, would you have an audio or video clip of your exhaust setup so I can hear it? There's only one video on youtube with this same exhaust on an EVO IX and the car's only revving while parked. I'd love to hear what the car sounds like with this exhaust while driving behind the wheel on while standing on the street corner and the EVO with this exhaust passes by

go for a bigger cams, 264 is kinda small for your mods IMO
