if you're talking about 93 octane the green can do it with exceptional cars...get the red turbo and it's much easier.

I think you could get there with your mods and a killer tune. Red would put you there easily like Mellon said.

yea im getting the red definetly. i watched a youtube video of a dude with a red, intercooler, intake, injectors, aftermarket ems and a better clutch do i think 11.24 in the quarter mile. just so im not a post ***** lol do you guys know what the typical compression is on an evo? also when i get all my parts...what can i put in it without a tune since thats an extra 400.

im guessing...turboback, ported exhaust manifold, o2 housing, intake and intercooler pipes and fuel pump?

Awwwwww..... Hp #'s.... Whatever happened to a car just pulling hard, and feelin strong
Well, I guess Ill just chime in since im already here. I made 375whp on my 8 with IX turbo, bolt ons, and 91 **** gas @24 psi, so u dont even need a green or a red. IX turbo on E85/race gas or any higher octane fuel should break 400awhp any day of the week, as long as youve got a healthy setup. Hope this helps

well that is good too hear. can i convert the evo 9 turbo into a red? or just into a green? i just dont like how people say the green dies out up top. to save some cash i may look for a good deal on a evo 9 turbo then convert it to a green or something. do you anything about the evo 7 question?

Compare the front end of urs to his. VII and VIII fronts are different. Like I said before IX turbo and race gas=400+whp, +$$$ in yer pocket When u get tired of that, then go BIG. Not too sure about the IX to red conversion, but if Im not mistaken, yeah, it would work. Only differences are internals/port work....
