NEW IX MR owner

Hi guys,

I was wondering if the experts here can stir me to the right direction. I`ve been lurking around in evom for a while now and finally got my evo after 3 years of waiting. I am 28 years and will be daily driving my evo, unless i got lucky and find a civic hatch 96-00. I was originally going to supercharge my s2k, but decided the evo would be the way to go.

For starters i want to get my evo modded.

Planning on Megan Cat back exhaust, with down pipe, hi flow cat, and maybe 02 housing. I also notice they have a manifold available as well. I sure most will suggest another brand, i am all ears...

As for as Intakes are i am looking at Injen and arc(pricey).

Cooling i am not sure what do to? since i am only looking for boost around 23-26 psi.

I know i will need a walbro fuel pump and aeromotive fuel rail?

also for boost control i decided to go with AEM truboost and a UEGO gauge type to monitor. Do you guys think its neccessary to get an AEM EMS? for my set up.

Probably looking at koyo rad and Cooling upper/lower ic pipping(suggestions)?

I was searching and found out that our stock IC is good for atleast 400HP. So i might upgrade or is it neccessary?

Was there anything i forgot to add? to make this a safe and fun car...

The most i am looking for is 350-400 to the wheel.

Of course i need a tune/flash on the ecu.

Thanks,
Wilson

Forgot to add that i was going to run GSC S1 Cams also, dont know if there`s anything else i need to run along with that... I was told to change the belt and water pump while if i do that. Also a cometic or some kind of head gasket, along with other stuff.

This form is funny you ask a question and they answer there own questions,as far as the mod's your looking at i personaly wouldn't put ebay junk on my evo go with buschur product's worth every penny and they make the most power ont the market. The stock intercooler is good for 350,plus you live's where it get's really heat and humid so expect tremendis heat soak.IF you buy a intercooler make sure it's a garret core there the best and can handle the most cooling and almost no heat soak which is very important if you race or have a centerbolock foot, forgot to mention when i had just a buschur stage 1 i pulled 365whp,3370wtq with stock intercooler, stock cams, and stock o2 housing buschur power period.

wandering about the clutch how much horsepower can it hold?

I have the IX MR, so im guessing 380-420 merits an after market clutch?
