so since the temperature here has been changing (IL) my cars be idling funny and ALOT of exhaust smell like gas can be smelled idk how rich it is or anything because i havent had a tune or i dont have a AFR guage. its never smelled rly like that before until it got colder, but some other things when im in 6th gear i step on it and the turbo kind of stutters, like you can hear it only on the first time when im in 6th( so it doesnt do it anymore after i go into 6th agian) and last nite when that happened i got home and somehting smelled like it was burning and i dont know what it is.. clutch? idk i wasnt beating on it that much nor did i grind any gears or anything just cruisin.

lol sorry it can be smelled inside and out side umm i checked the oil and its fine. cause thats the first thing i thought but then it wasnt soo??

 

well iono about the burning smell but it can be alot of things. IAC sensor, TPS, MAP sensor, ur vacuum lines. all can contribute to rich fuel mixtures and/or rough idling. the burning smell im not too sure about...but my guess is something isnt being lubricated or something that isnt supposed to be burned is being burned lol

 

Is your modded? Maybe just make your dealer deal with it under warranty and save yourself money $$$.

no its stock besides a k&N cone filter for the winter. does any one know about the 6th gear turbo stutter? none of this started till it got colder outside? and yes i do let it warm up before i drive

 

The exact same thing is happening with me less the smell. It almost feels like the downpipe is rattling, I'm going to get under it this week and take a look and hopefully find out. If I figure it out I will post it up.
