which drop in filter has best sound

i did a search and read that the perrin drop in has a nice sound.. allowing you to hear the stock bov..

i know most of these perform similarly.. so the decision comes down to sound of the stock bov

hks
perrin
blitz
k&n

thanks

The HKS foam one is plenty audible, but I'd be asking which one filters the best or which one has the best flow to filtration ratio.

I don't want a reusable filter...it's already a compromise that filters less than paper. The $30 HKS one is almost cheap enough to throw out once a year. I'd rather not fool myself that a oiled gauze filter twice washed still has any microfibers left to catch dirt.

In my opinion, sounds more civilized; not as obvious as a Cone or SRI. Yes, you can hear the turbo spool and BOV.

Yeah I have a drop in K&N. It's not really loud but I can tell there's more air going in and shifting does cause the BOV to be slightly louder if you're getting on it.

wanting to hear my turbo spool is rice? last time i checked enjoying the sound of your car is a big part of enjoying the car...

if you don't have anything helpful to say.. stay out of the thread.. obviously another forum troll with a giant list of signature mods trying to make up for other shortcomings...

You should be worried about performance , not the sound of something. What if it sounds great but it cleans like *** and lets debris into ur engine. That right there is rice.

And my sig mods is for when i post questions. I dont have the "what are your mods?" Question.

AND i have zero shortcommings , thx
