I found one of the few blue evos with aero and sss left on the east coast.. problem is its built in nov07 and motor/cars built prior to april 08 have had oil leakage by the timing cover, ecu reflash problems. I dont want to have the hassle but damn it I'm so close to getting the car I always wanted.

Because it is a very good chance, I would say don't get it, because you might have a ton of issues to deal with.

I lucked out since I got a April 08 Model

Do you want the car? Deal with the risk of the hassle if you really want it. If not, then you shouldn't be getting one anyway, problems can happen with every car. It's whether they are worth owning the car or not that matters.

same here. I've had a few problems but not the leaks. Although i expected to have some problems, guess I was alone on that.

If your having second thoughts about the purchase, then I would suggest holding off till you find the right gem.

Remember, your not buying a civic.

All that **** will probably happen under warranty. They will reflash the ECU for you for free if they havent already. The only inconvenience to you will be driving a rental car. I say do it.

Mine was built Jan08... so far no issues yet. Car runs perfect. I say buy it... as long as you have no plans abusing it, you shouldn't have any problems.
