Evo reliability
Evo reliability
i had a 03 evo back in 03 when they first came out
i want another one but highly modded are they reliable i just sold my zo6 that i ad built with 600 rwhp and drove the car hard almost everyday with zero problems beisides gauges not working
are they high maintenance feedback would be great if you have a high powered evo

I would say it really depends on how the previous owner(s) treated it.
I know its not 600, but I DD my 2003 Evo VIII w/ 440 whp without any issues. I don't feel the need to go WOT the whole time i'm on the road, but I definitely find time to have fun with it.
There's obviously other factors to it, but my point is - I would rather purchase a highly modded car that was well taken care of than a mildly modified car that was beat to hell every time it was driven

What Z06 did you have? My C5 had many problems lol. My headlight gears stopped working, the headlight switch broke (never seen that before with any car), the seats tore at the seams, alternator quit working. (all before 40k miles lmfao) My supercharger broke belts like it was it's job haha but I loved that fuxing car. Overall my Evo/STI/240SX/Mustang were all wayyyyyyy more reliable than my Corvette and I'm not counting my modding, just the stock **** breaking. Even after all that BS my next car will be a used C6 Z06, it's just an amazing car.
EDIT: My C5 had almost 600 whp and just as much rwtq and was not reliable in any way but was the most fun to drive on a daily basis. My 9 is a very close second and seems to be just as fun because I can gun it in a turn with a measly 350 whp on a low reading Mustang Dyno and not have to worry about doing a 180. ; ) My 9 is way more manageable and I would bet from a dig is just as fast as my boosted C5 up to 100 mph and much easier to drive.

i agree with mrolla depends if the guy kept up on maintness, oil changes, trans fluid change, tcase/rear end change, and so on also depends on whenever that machine fires up if its wot all time or just cruises.
