Just be patient. An Evo is certainly not just a car. It is much more than anything on the market. It is a car that, if kept stock, you can just put gas in, drive, maintain with oil changes, and not have to worry about other more expensive maintenance costs. The same can be said for an upgraded Evo, but they can also be very dangerous. It's full potential should only be realized on a track. Never on the streets.

1. Why the **** are people still posting in this thread? I really don't want any more advice, as you can see I have gotten 9 pages too many of advice and threats and ****.

2. @borievoinitialD- sorry you didn't have a rich daddy and you had to work for years to get your car. Blow me.

3. @ all the old timers on this site that are thinking about posting, please don't. At this point you are embarrassing yourselves.

Un-called for He simply asked for advice. So what if his dad buy's his car if so He is one of the lucky ones. To be honest if His dad is buying him a car then atleast He doesnt want his dad to spend 60-70k for a car. Stop being nasty why would you even bother responding to his thread if you have nothing nice to say. Anyways if He wants an evo good for him another one in our community just hope that He doesnt drive crazy.

I some what agree with this but i was 17 when i purchased my Evo I admit it was in my mothers name for the first 2 years till i could develop credit but im now 20 going on 21 and have had it for OVER 3 years and last year i refinanced it in my name.... I payed EVERY PENNY for that car myself.... i even put 1K down on it... also i know i live at home under my parents roof... but i still have a cell phone bill, Rent, insurance on the Motorcycle, Evo, and my 93 ranger to pay for along with the evo payment which is $550 a month ... the truck was given to me by my girlfriends father 2 years ago for me to work on since he was going to junk it... since then the truck has been my DD since ive gotten it and has lowered my insurance for the evo drastically since its not my primary vehicle, But again not every 17 year old kid is spoiled. I saved up and worked for the evo and i am still working for it right now along with my the stuff i have... The evo payment used to be $450 a month until it was refinanced in my name but only 1 1/2 years left on paying on it!!!
