thinking about trading in my RSX for an EVO
I had the RSX, traded it in for the MX5, and the lease is up in 8 months so I'm going to get the Evo after that.
If I had enough cash for 3 cars though, I promise you, the 3 wouldn't be an RSX, a Miata, and an Evo... Probably Evo, Lotus, and Frontier (for practicality, and if we're going affordable cars).
ok here's a picture
175$ to register for the track day
200$ for maintenance/tune fee (Oil change, tranny fluid change, brake pad change, occasional transfer fluid case change, brake fluid change, spark plug change especially if you are running high boost, 5 gallon race gas every time) I suggest you do all that EVERY time you go to track with Evo.(besides the transfer fluid, brake fluid, and spark plug, maybe every 2-3 times)
200$ is a deal too, I'd spend more if I go anywhere else, but I have awsome shop right by my house that is owned by my buddy.
I spend grand for wheel and tire just for the track set up, and I got a STEAL deal on my Nitto nt05's.
I am on my 3rd race pads, which is about 200$ give or take
I clearly spend 5 bills on track days on average, and that's if nothing breaks.
It shouldn't break, but I'm not counting that out.
So you get the idea

hey bro go with the evo but trust me after two weeks your going to want more power so your going to upgrade that is when the money comes in to play but if your in to cars in general then you know it cost to go fast.
Hah! I wish I had enough cash for 20 cars too!

dude wonder how many pages this thread would have if we wandered off into that subject
i had an 06 civic si coupe beating my friends evo viii with work. problem is, he was not tuned. i then went out and bought me an evo ix. i love the fact i got rid of the si, cause the evo is alot of fun, has tons of power and possibilities are endless for modifications. car is hella fun tracked with the power to weight ratios. suspension is nice and perfectly tuned straight from the factory. the sound of the car is great, its comfortable thanks to recaro seats holding you in. i can go on forever, the evo is just an all around fun and brutal to v8's car lol. Ill be keeping mine for a very long time. get rid of the k20, go with the 4g63
