Stars have aligned

Hey guys,

Just wanted to drop in and say hey,

I signed a contract for a RR EVO X GSR today, all the goodies except Navi...

In the process of getting my Subaru back to stock then I'll be officially trading it in...

Will keep things pretty simple for a while, AP and a cat-back probably...

Been doing a lot of reading here, fire me any links that you think are especially good reads...

Cheers,

~Mike

Congrates man welcome to the club. Now you have a fast car. Not really a fan of the X in terms of performance but for style I love it. I might buy a X MR with all the works for my DD. I think it's time to retire the VIII for the track

I think the only way that I would stick to "simple" was if I were broke. hehe.

Welcome.

Haha yeah, I went a bit overboard on my WRX...

I'll post it up later, and wanted something out of the box that was a contender and stick under warranty for a while...

I hear that. If I'd gone with a 335xi then I'd have a warranty but to load a BMW up with Nav and a decent stereo gets into crazy prices. I think modding an Evo up to "full bolt-ons" power level & a better suspension will work out better for me. The maintenance on my 325xi while off-warranty was crazy.

Looks nice. I like definitely prefer the non-hatch models. It looks like you did a combination of power, suspension, and cosmetic.

That's what I'm working toward -- a daily driver that'll be a blast on once-per-month track days during the summers.

Because it took too much for me to get it to a point where I wanted it to be,

I had no warranty at this point...

I love that car I do, and I always will but the X will get me to where all those mods brought my WRX and I still get a warranty...

It will be a bit of a hit in the power department, because that thing would have stomped my EVO hands down but obviously there's a bit more to the picture than that...

Also with a simple stage 1 flash I'll be in the same ballpark...
