What mod next?
Hi,
Heres my 2cents, or as you yanks say 1/4.
If you want a everyday reliable, quick car, be pulling 2nd or third, before your rival is out of first !!
These Mods blew my comp away, and most big HP cars I came up against, and everyone that drove it could never beleive it.
Turbo: BBK FULL
ECU: MOTEC, but anything here with a Good Tuner(not the fish) on your side.
Intercooler Piping: Monster, but any is better than factory.
Intercooler: Factory. Don't waste your money here, Factory is good!
Cam Gears: TOMEI, any will do.
Cams: Kelford, but most will do, I went 272.
Air Intake: Monster
Boost Controller: HKS
BOV: Not a Plastic one.
Exhaust: Complete system, from the Turbo. I ran a Custom setup. 3" min. Note: more flow more go!
Plenum: Slurried, Factory cast leaves all this bits of **** you dont want in your chamber, the slurry process cleans out any unwanted bits, and leaves a smooth finish.
Throttle Body: Modified, dont know what was done here, all I know is, it gave it more flow.
Exhaust Manifold: Tuned, gives more top end power, I went for a factory looking one, but made from steam pipe.
Fuel Pump: A Big one or two.
Fuel: E85!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope that helps.
Oh, and the more Bolt-On bits you go for the better.

I just threw that number out there to be honest. 400 awhp was arbitrary.
I'm just trying to get to the bottom of the mod list and find out which one is the most power for the money. It appears that I've already ran out of single upgrades for power and must buy a laundry list of parts to pick-up more power.

OP, the weak sauce in your current set-up is the 91 octane gasoline.
If at all possible, the very best mod you could make would be the E85 mod. And if you wish to run much higher boost (say 28 psi) with the E85 then you will need a Walbro 255 fuel pump and 1,000cc injectors.
I attempted to make maximum power on 91 as well, but each bolt-on mod only adds a small amount of power. It is a slow and expensive way to mod your EVO. You will never be able to add as much power as you will want w/o a larger turbo or E85, or both.
Here is a thread of EVOs making big power on 91. All have upgraded turbos.
Highest WHP 2.0L EVOs on 91.

Well the HTA Green like I said before in another debate is the BBK Full killa. But on the other hand CBRD is the only other stock bolt-on turbo I would buy but I feel that FP is better

All this conjecture doesn't help me pick a turbo!
BBK Full
FP Green
HTA Green
So many choices. Help me understand each of these and why one is better then another.
