New Evo owner

Hello all my name is Josh, and I recently picked up an '06 Evo IX SE. I am not new to forums or wrenching on cars, although most of my past vehicles were Mazdas and Nissans. I probably wont post a whole lot, until I scour this board for any relevant material first. I will try to be a help, and search before I ask any questions.

I am loving this car so far, there are a few things I would like to do before I consider her done. The current things done the car are: AMS TBE, Works drop in filter, Rexspeed carbon lip, Greddy Profec spec II, and a re-flashed ECU. The previous owner(and initial purchaser in '06), tells me it's putting down 313awhp and 330 ft lbs tq. I do not doubt this judging by the way it pulls around 3k RPMs.

Honestly I could care less, it's 100% better than the stock tiny one. I may go with a Delrin one from Dent sport in the near future. The extension and knob make shifting way easier than it was when I bought the car.

Engine bay is minty. Oh man, you do have a unique style in shift knobs . No worries whatever you like. Awesome car though man, real clean.

^^Thanks for all the complements, I don't really care for short shifters. So for me a longer shift knob does the trick, the oem one is way to short for me.

I bought the car in Sep '09 with 35k on the odo, it now has 40XXX on it. As far as how clean it is, the pictures don't show alot of the rock chips in the bumper/hood area. But I've found if you warm your engine up, spray the crap out of the engine bay with purple power, then hose it down. It makes it tons cleaner.
