Apexi GT Spec. It goes from 3" to 3.5" polished stainless with hollow hangers. I believe Gruppe-S is selling them for $500 shipped now. I paid $600 shipped a little over a year ago. I don't see too many people on here running the GT Spec. I had the HKS Carbon Ti on my 03' Evo and I personally like the GT Spec better. It still has a angle to it, but its not as aggressive as the HKS and the tip isn't as big.

Thanks for all the help. I plan on doing all my own installs. now its just down to what parts, and if I can get them new or used. Ideally I want a solid foundation, incase I wanted to expand on it a ton sometime in the future.
TBE with 02 housing, intake, LICP, Boost gauge and controller, re-flash or tune and plus or minus fuel pump.

You may want to have a look at David Buschur's post. It's certainly up to you if you want to bolt-on parts that won't do very much for expected gains. Or, you could take a proven, tested approach that doesn't hinge on forum hearsay. I can only suggest that the more you mod, the more parts you replace, the bigger the chances of car's drivability suffering as a result. From that perspective, you're much better off changing as little as you can to meet your goals. Good luck.

The fuel pump is a very easy install and I would highly recommend putting one in if you plan on modifying your car. Like everyone said, basic bolt ons and a tune are a great way to go. We have found by upgrading the lower pipe it's good for around 12-18whp on the dyno.

Brining this back, I have a 3" TBE and ETS LICP now, MBC and walbro are ordered. Im am having a hard time deciding between just getting a Cone filter (Perrin or AMS) with the MAF bracket or committing to a Complete Perrin intake. Anyone want to chime in if based on what I already have that I will get the full potential out of that complete intake kit, or just stick with the filter. I am not going to do any other mods past these.

Update, Because I felt like it. Have th FP in and the Perrin Complete intake in. Loveing that power. I have a MBC waiting to go in when I get a tune, but I am looking at getting an 02 housing then either a Ported Mani or a meagan one.. Then its off for a tune with MBC install.
