Newb HFC Question.

So this is the HFC i ordered, The one i received looks exactly like this with the exception of the little opening stem thing on one side. I see it on other high flow cats as well but not all of them and its not on test pipes so whats it for or should i contact the company to get a new one?

That's a bung for your rear 02 sensor.

The o2 should screw into the bung for it.

That could be it, is this HFC evo specific ? I know the evo 8 and 9 have different o2 bung locations on the cat but it should still be on there, unless they expect you to weld on your own bung. I would call the company and see whats up.

Yes its evo specific and actually evo 8 specific they asked before purchasing if its for an 8 or 9.

Edit: I looked at my catback exhaust and it has something that looks like that and its threaded with a bolt in it, gonna assume thats where the 02 goes.

Evo VIII's don't have an o2 sensor in the cat pipe, so you're fine. Evo IX's do.

Stock Evo 8 O2 sensor bung location is on the midpipe after the catalytic converter.
Stock Evo 9 O2 sensor bung location is on the catalytic converter.

The part that you ordered is specific for an Evo 8 like yours.
