Hi,

I just install an HKS Intercooler Pipe Kits on my evo x and I getting a werid sound from the Intercooler like it's rubbering something try removing and put it back still the same thing anyone have is issue when installing this kits, and thanks everyone.

 

Does it use an upper bracket on the intercooler pipe? I had a customer who didn't tighten down the clamps all the way and the car made an odd sound leaking past the coupler.

 

You mean the elbow part that connect to the intercooler if that what yes I did tighten it with a black rubber that came with the kit and oh I forget to said that I only hear that werid sound only when I do a hard acceleration

 

Sounds like it could be a boost leak.

 

I slove the issue the piping clamp was rubbing on stud of firewall and NO IT'S NOT A BOOST LEAK but thanks any way.
