08 Evo X looking for upgrade ideas

Just got an 08 Ev0 X GSR yesterday. been wanting one for a while and the test drive sold it (and hell yea i went ***** to the wall).

I am looking for a few upgrades that i can do periodically...upgrades that cost less then about 500$ a pop. it already has rims and tires and I'm not sure about the shocks but the stance is higher in the back (from what i seen on the 2010, that model GSR sat level) so I'm guessing there's some type of suspension work already done.

two things i got in mind already are

-New intercooler
-New LED Tails

other then that I cant really think of anything. This car will most likely never see the track or dirt. So if you got any suggestions hook em up, and all input is appreciated. Thanks

First modification..turbo back exhaust and O2 housing..research those parts.

Then go from there with bolt ons and figuring out your ultimate plans for the car.

looks like you have an aftermarket exhaust right there too. might want to do a bit of research on your car and see exactly what you got.

LED tail lights?

You bought an Evo, and the second thing you can think of adding is LED tail lights?

how about turboback exhaust, cobb intercooler pipes to match your car, an intake, boost controller and a tune and leave it at that

Kill your inner ricer and now and don't waste money on LED tail lights.

If you do, keep it a secret, or you'll get flamed to no end. The Evo is all around a performance vehicle, so you're going to get some serious enthusiasts on this board.

Since you're planning on keeping the car only on the street I would suggest:

Tune (That alone is the best $ to whp mod you can do)
3" TBE
Intake/Filter
Maybe a LICP, as that will pick you up a few ponies for only a couple hundred bucks.

Remember to always tune after every new part to get the most out of it!

Welcome to the family!
